Consultancy and group learning

I help funders, councils, social investors, charities and social enterprises work together, share ideas, learn and build strong partnerships that support communities and grow the local social economy.

I have a deep understanding of the role of social economy organisations in growing community wealth and building more inclusive economies. I’m particularly experienced and passionate about building partnerships that support places to flourish.

For over 20 years I’ve worked across community engagement, place-based partnerships and social economy growth. Most recently, as Associate Director at Power to Change — a funder and think-do tank supporting community businesses — and Deputy CEO at Better Bankside, a central London Business Improvement District. I have an MSc in Human Ecology, focused on activism for social and environmental justice.

I have worked in neighbourhoods, cities and regions to bring people together around community, regeneration and social economy development.

I galvanize teams and groups to collaborate and learn together.

I am an experienced manager and leader who can use tools like Action Learning and my coaching skills to facilitate peer learning in spaces that are respectful and empowering.
